For Sale - Big Lil by Shags from Western Secret.

Approximate Height - 16hh Chestnut Thoroughbred Mare, 8yo.

Description- Super sweet natured mare, loves kids, good with animals, motorbikes, kangaroos. Lightly competed but always placed locally. Competed up to 65 due to limited outings. Always good at events in the yard etc. has more woah than go most of the time but can get hot and put in a pigroot (I have a super hot seat so may not with other riders). Have put many kids and beginners on her to learn on at home.

Can lead other horses off her and can be lead from another horse. Basic flatwork established with nice movement. Bold with fill jumps, but you have to ride her because she will get out of doing any work if she can. Can be a bit strong jumping sometimes but I just ride in a snaffle for all phases, and she's been getting a lot better.

She has so much character, she loves belly button rubs and chest scratches. Good for the farrier, is unshod and has been for a couple of years of competing. Very good doer, loves her food. Good with other horses in the paddock.

Cons: Good to float but scrambles to find her feet on a straight load (I have her on an angle and she travels perfectly). Was a bad float loader but have since spent a lot of time getting her to self load, but needs consistency with this. I've clipped her every year for the past 3 years but is very tense and jumpy without sedation, and hates needles so have sedated over the tongue (vets can needle her though). In paddock condition, has been on spell in since October 2022.
