We have purchased 3 OTT horses through Rehome a racehorse, the first one in 2016.
All by Trade fair - the first one Joe who was a unraced 4 yr old who had only trialled has been the best horse (currently with a 12yr old teaching her the ropes) that when we were looking for another competition horse we mentioned to Linda and she found us another in 2018 by the same sire he was exactly what we were looking for, he had a longer race career as he was 7yr old with quite a lot racing under his belt, he made the adjustment to an eventer very quickly and is now is currently competing 1*eventing, the breeder/trainer has kept in contact and follows his progress. Again we found ourselves in need of another competition horse at the beginning of the year, rehome a racehorse was our go to when we were looking, Linda has found us 3 fantastic OTT its quiet amazing that rather than spend lots of time looking around for a suitable horse Linda has a good idea what we were after, I highly recommend the service they provide to give race horses a life after racing.

We purchased “SuperMaxi” from Linda (Rehome a racehorse) at the end of 2020.
He had a couple of months with Linda after he finished on the track.
This was a big decision as he is 16.2h and would be ridden by my 12yo daughter.
I am experienced in thoroughbreds myself and I knew the girls have a great eye for a horse. Confirmation, temperament, train ability and a sensible brain are all important to me as well as keeping my child safe.
Super has been all I had hoped for. Of course it’s not always perfect but the are now (June 2021) competing at 80cm Showjumping, interschool State Champs, Pony Club and Eventing.
So excited to see where the future takes Charlee and SuperMaxi.
