Description -Botavara retired from the racetrack in 2015 as he was just too slow, so has been used for the racing programme at the Narrogin Agricultural College up until end of 2020. When the programme finished. Botavara has been a paddock ornament ever since and has enjoyed his rest. Botavara was used to teach students how to handle and ride a racehorse in order for the student to pass their competency certificates in horse husbandry, handling, slow and fast work track licences which will help them to gain employment in the racing industry throughout Australia in the future.

Botavara is a really good doer and will hold his weight well. Botavara is easy to float, shoe, drench and catch. He will catch you once he gets to know you but a little stand offish until he knows you want to be his friend and not just his handler. He has been ridden by dozens of college students in his time without any issues.

He is a really sweet gentle boy who loves lots of attention and would excel in the show ring with his gorgeous looks and beautiful 3 paces. Botavara would also love trail rides and beach activities as he has spent many a day swimming.
