Description - "Calamine" Cala is a beautiful mare who is now available for adoption. Cala is a sweet mare who is ready to have her ridden education developed. Cala has been brought back into work through lunging (wall trot canter) and wall/trot work under saddle over the past few months and is ready for a confident rider to take her to the next level.

She loves in hand work going over obstacles and lunging as well as a nice plod around.

She absolutely loves bareback rides too. Cala is also ridden bit less as we found this is what she prefers.

Whether it is in hand, ridden, lead line or liberty work Cala would excel in all of these.

Before coming to the rescue this year she was a brood mare for 6 years. The previous person decided to step back from horses to work on confidence and our rescue is currently downsizing hence the reason she is for adoption. Cala has just been wormed, had her teeth done, body work/massage sessions and had a vet check done by previous owner which we can provide. She will have the farrier come this week as well so that will be done.

Cala absolutely loves her food!

Prefers to have at least one equine friend however, she has been on her own before with friend over the fence and was perfectly fine.
