Description - Tisha (also known as Bugs) is sadly for sale, through no fault of her own, on behalf of her owner. For the last three years she has been lightly ridden, mainly in the bush. She attended pony club with her previous owner, and we understand jumped to 1 metre. She is green, and although is ridden by a beginner in the bush, she does require a confident, experienced and sensitive rider to bring her on.
Although she is green, she is a very smart horse and a quick learner. She is quiet in the bush. Although a little anxious on new trails for the first time, once she settles in she can be walked and trotted on a loose rein. She is very confident and rarely spooks at anything. She is used to seeing kangaroos in the bush, and is good with cars. With consistent riding, she can work in a frame. She is sensitive off the leg, but she doesn't rush and she maintains her straightness well. She thrives off regular work, and needs a job because she is currently not getting the work or attention she needs.
She would be best suited to an experienced rider wanting a bush hack, adult riders mount or a confident teenager for pony club. Although she is ridden by a beginner, she will only be sold to the very best experienced homes. She’s excellent for the farrier and great to worm. Easy to catch. Up to date with the dentist. She is sound, has very good feet. She never raced, and only trialled. She's an extremely good doer. She is a mare, and therefore, is grumpy at times. However, she has never a lifted leg and although she doesn't enjoy a cuddle, she does love a scratch!
This is a very sad sale for us. We want the very best forever home for her.
