Magic Albert x Matignon Albert has told us he’s done his job and we can stick the races where the sun doesn’t shine!

He had a good crack at it while he did race (61: 9-1-8) and earned almost $210,000 in stakes money.

He deserves a good retirement home where someone might offer him a scotch on the rocks after a long day.

He has a lot of character and would make a nice pleasure horse or suit a confident teenager/adult for jumping or eventing.

Good in the bush, can be ridden alone or in company.

Quiet to ride with more woah than go, but will require a confident rider to bring him on and get the best out of him.

Retired sound and underwent a vet check to apply for the OTT retraining program (ineligible due to time spent in WA not meeting their criteria).

Happy to provide the information from the vet check for anyone seriously interested!

He would benefit from some groundwork as he can be a little pushy on the ground, otherwise good to handle. Lovely nature, the staff all liked him a lot and he got lots of cuddles.

He always needed a confident and assertive handler due to being a little pushy.

Good to transport via truck, haven’t travelled him on the float.

Good to shoe and trim.

Good around machinery/tractors/motorbikes.

Has been to the beach and enjoyed wading and swimming.

Last raced in Marble Bar 06/07/2024.

As with any off the track thoroughbred he will require an experienced home with time to spell to further let down.

He was clipped during his campaign up in Broome and may still need a rug.

Currently out in a large paddock to get him out of the racing stables but he’s had a good 4 months off the track now and is ready for his new home.

Transport can be arranged to get him to Perth at new owner’s expense.
