Description -

Calvin’s last race start was 2nd September where he retired sound but he just doesn’t want to be a racehorse anymore.

He has since started basic flatwork and coming along quite quickly, he’s able to leg yield, shoulder in and moves quite nicely. He will only excel with more work under his belt. I think Calvin will suit multiple disciplines. He is very good to ride and easy to have around and handle, however he is a big strong horse and must go to an experienced rider/home only as he is not long off the track.

Calvin was a very good racehorse for his breeders/owners, so they would prefer he go to a long term home rather than someone wanting a short term project.

Please note: Calvin does have a parrot mouth and although it doesn’t look cosmetically pretty it does not affect him in the slightest. Calvin went to the Thoroughbred Championship in hand show 22.10.23 and handled the atmosphere great! Photos and video available from the show Please no time wasters!

Calvin is good to shoe, float, teeth etc although currently not shod at present
