For Sale - Turkish - 20 year old Standardbred gelding
Turkish, approx. 15hh, retired from racing in 2012 after 160 starts earning his connections $131,302. Turkish has been enjoying his retirement and role as a companion ever since.
Turkish is an easy keeper, kept barefoot, easy to float, and is easy to handle on the ground. He was visited by the dentist four to six weeks ago, and doesn’t remember the last time he needed a visit from a vet. Turkish is currently paddocked during the day and turned in to his stable at night.
Turkish is only for sale as the owner, Peter is moving properties where there will be no room for him. Peter would like to keep in touch with Turkish’s new owner to ensure he is well looked after. A good home is important.
